Last week saw the launch of our second doggy station, this time in Kings Cross, London.
As DOTS expands to cater to the needs of the Capitals street dogs, we are so excited to reveal that this new station will be a weekly thing!
Every Wednesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, outside Kings Cross Station on the corner of York Way, DOTS will be setting up a ‘hub’ version of the main weekly street station with a table full of essentials for the homeless to pop along to and grab what they need for their trusty and loved companions.
As well as essentials like food and leads, dogs will also be able to receive full health checks and a plan of action should further veterinary treatment or investigations be required.
A main reason for this second weekly station is that having one location can be a bit tricky for some homeless dog owners to get to depending on where they usually bed down. Expanding out to other areas of London opens up a bit more choice to them.
So here’s who rocked up to our first hub station last week…
This 14 year old beauty came by for a health check and to get registered with DOTS. We kitted her out with a new comfy padded harness, lead, food, cosy blanket and some treats.
What a Bonnie lass…
12 year old Bonnie – who was having such fun with her ball – popped by with her daddy, was registered with DOTS and left with a new harness and lead as well as food, blanket & bowl.
Teddy Bear Tyson just can’t get enough of DOTS and we are thrilled that this chap is becoming a real regular. If you keep up to date with us on social media you’ll know that Tyson’s most favourite thing in his doggy world is his ball! So we had loads of tickles and ball playtime with him.
Here’s to more doggy care each and every week at our second location!
